Ang Dawa Sherpa, Climbing Sherpa

LIke his older brother Nawang Sherpa, Ang Dawa grew up wanting to climb the high peaks of the Himalaya. A native of the high altitude Solu-Khumbu village of Tapting, Ang Dawa Sherpa (28 yrs) has completed his mountaineering training curriculum, and has already climbed many peaks.

In 1998 he served as part of the trekking support team for our Annapurna South Face expedition. Ang Dawa is an incredibly strong guy with a dazzling smile and upbeat personality, making him a very popular member of expedition groups.
