George Patterson, Communications and Technology Consultant/Wizard

George is a rock climber, mountaineer and retired physicist from Santa Rosa, California in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has extensive experience traveling and working in China as a consultant, so is a valuable team member.

He is also helping the team by selecting and testing communications gear, procuring solar panels, and selecting the appropriate electrical equipment needed by the team. George has climbed many of the highest peaks in the US, and is looking forward to climbing his first 8,000 meter peak.
